Operational Information
Coupon Club (also known as The Coupon Club) is a special offer platform operated in Malta by Untangled Media Limited (C-44674). We are based at Level 2, Office 4, Mallia Buildings, Commerce Street, Mriehel, Malta.
Acceptance of Terms of Service
By registering on our website and signing up, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Coupon Club, and its operating company, may at any time modify these Terms & Conditions. You can review the most current version of it by clicking on the "Terms & Conditions" link located at the bottom of the Coupon Cub website. The most current version will supersede all previous versions. By continuing to use Coupon Club after changes are made and notified to you (on the email you have associated to your account), you agree to be bound by such changes.
Limitations on Use
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Coupon Club platform or register on our website. If you do not qualify, please do not register or use our website. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 16 years or over and assume all responsibility for your account and membership.
Membership Fees and Terms
Signing up for our platform is optional and free but in order to use any of the coupons listed on the platform an individual must have a fully confirmed account. Confirmation is processed through your mobile phone by means of a verification SMS. There are three tiers of membership:
Basic: This membership is free to all people who sign up to the platform and entitles them to use 1 (One) Discount Coupon and 1 (One) Deal Coupon every 30 days. Basic membership does not entitle the member to use any Freebie Coupons or any Special Coupons. Any coupons already used by a Basic member will not be available again unless the member upgrades to a paid membership.
1 Month: This membership covers a period of 30 days from subscription date. It entitles members to use an unlimited amount of Discount Coupons, Deal Coupons, Special Coupons and Freebie Coupons. All coupon usage is reset (with the exception of any one-time use coupons) with every successful renewal of this subscription.
3 Month: This subscription covers a period of 90 days from subscription date. It entitles members to use an unlimited amount of Discount Coupons, Deal Coupons, Special Coupons and Freebie Coupons. All coupon usage is reset (with the exception of any one-time use coupons) every 30 days during the 90-day period and again at the end of the 90-days upon renewal.
When making any subscription purchase you will be asked to input your credit card information via the secure connection to our Payment Provider. Coupon Club does not store your credit card information anywhere on our platform or servers.
Automatic Renewal
All paid subscriptions on Coupon Club, 30-day and 90-day, will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period. This is to ensure seamless use of the Coupon Club and all its offers without inconveniencing our members. However, all members will be notified by email one-week prior to their renewal taking place. This email will provide clear information about this automatic renewal. Members can, at any time, visit their account on Coupon Club and turn off auto-renewals.
The Types of Offers
There are four different types of offers available to Coupon Club members. Each of these is provided in the form of a digital coupon which is redeemed through the platform. Each coupon can only be used once.
Freebies: Freebies are defined as products or services which members can claim for free from participating outlets without the obligation of making a purchase. Outlets providing Freebies may, from time to time, be required to substitute the promoted item with another, similar item of equal or similar value. Freebie coupons clearly indicate either how many are still available or how long the Freebie is available for. In some cases, both. Basic members are not entitled to use any Freebie Coupons. Paid subscribers can make use of all available Freebies during every 30-days of their membership.
Specials: These are offers which are either short term, for example, available for only one week or limited in number, for example, to the first 50 Coupon Club members who claim them. Although Coupon Club makes every effort to ensure members are able to claim these offers, their limited nature means that we cannot guarantee they will be available to all members. Either the number of coupons still available for redemption, or the date when the Special offer runs out, is clearly marked on each coupon card. Paid subscribers can make use of all available Specials during every 30-days of their membership.
Discounts: These are simple discounts which members can redeem at any of the listed outlets. There are no pre-determined limits on these discounts and members do not need to spend a specific amount in order to benefit from them. Basic members are entitled to use one Discount Coupon every 30 days. 1-month and 3-month members can use any number of Discount Coupons during their subscription period.
Deals: These coupons are dependent on a member taking specific action. For example, buy one get one free; get a free bottle of wine when ordering 2 main courses or spend €100 or more to benefit from a 10 per cent discount. Basic members are entitled to use one Deal Coupon every 30 days. 1-month and 3-month members can use any number of Deal Coupons during their subscription period.
Single Use Only Coupons: In the case of all four of the above standard offers – Freebies, Specials, Discounts and Deals – some coupons may be marked as single use only. This means that when a member has used that coupon it will no longer be available and will not reset with the other coupons every 30-day cycle.
Changes to Offers
Although there are hundreds of offers available for use at any time, some of those may expire during a member’s subscription period so it is important to check the platform regularly for changes. New offers will also be added in all four of our categories as we keep the platform current and dynamic.
Using Coupons
To use a coupon: Visit the relevant outlet (or website in the case of online offers). Inform the cashier or business owner that you will be using a coupon. Press the “Use Now” button.
Acknowledge that you understand the usage warning by clicking “Proceed”. Show your device to the cashier or business owner for them to confirm that the coupon is live and valid. All participating businesses reserve the right not to honour a coupon if they suspect it has already been used or if they are of the belief that the coupon has been tampered with in any way. Anyone found to be trying to use an invalid coupon will have the membership cancelled and the company reserves the right to take further action.
Reclaiming Coupons
To all intents and purposes, once you have pressed the Proceed button on a coupon, that coupon is marked by our system as used. It is important to only push this button when you are ready to use the coupon. If you press this button by mistake, in rare cases we may be able to reverse the procedure after checking the system and checking with the outlet concerned. Doing so remains entirely at Coupon Club’s discretion.
Accuracy of Information
All efforts are made by us to ensure the information included on each Coupon is accurate and up to date. However, we take no responsibility for accuracy including, but not limited to, business name, location, offer description etc. For example, if a business is forced to close temporarily, for whatever reason, we will endeavour to temporarily remove their coupons from our platform. However, we are reliant on the business to keep us posted of situations like this.
Responsibility
The Coupon Club is not responsible in any way for products or services provided by participating businesses. If a member has any issues with quality of products or services, delivery, or any other item which may arise they are advised to take it up directly with the business.
Failure to Redeem a Coupon
Coupon Club makes every effort to ensure every single coupon listed on our platform is fully up to date and accurate and that the participating business is fully aware of their obligations with regard to the coupon. If, for whatever reason, a business fails to fulfil its obligations in regard to a specific coupon please let us know and if we are able to resolve the issue we will do so in the swiftest possible manner.
Other Offers
All businesses who are offering coupons through the Coupon Club reserve the right not to allow Coupons to be used in conjunction with other sales, discounts or offers they may run from time to time. Please check with the specific businesses to ensure the coupon can be used with your specific purchase before pressing the Proceed button.
Intellectual Property
Untangled Media is the sole owner of the Coupon Club brand and website which includes any software, domains, and content made available through it. The Coupon Club website is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Coupon Club is a registered trademark.
Privacy
We only use any personal information that you submit, that is submitted by a third party on your behalf, or that we collect when you are using the Coupon Club website in the ways set out in our Privacy Policy. Please be aware that internet transmissions are never completely private or secure and that any message or information you send using the Coupon Club website may be read or intercepted by others.
Updates
We may, from time to time, at our sole discretion, carry out, develop, and provide updates to the Coupon Club platform which may include upgrades, bug fixes, patches, and other error corrections and/or new features. Such updates may modify or delete in their entirety certain features. We have no obligation to provide any updates or to continue to provide or enable any particular features or functionality. You hereby agree that any updates made by us to the Coupon Club platform shall be subject to these terms and conditions as updated from time to time.
Deletion
You may, at any time, request to delete your account by sending an email to info@couponclub.mt. You understand and accept that by choosing to do this, you will lose access to any coupons associated with your account, and you will further have no right to a refund of the membership fee if you choose to delete your account prior to the lapse of the subscription period. If you opt to delete your account, details regarding your account and usage will be deleted. Certain personal data may be archived for a period of time in accordance with our data retention policy.
Refunds
In the unlikely event you are not 100 per cent satisfied with your purchase, the Coupon Club allows all members a 14-day period in which to claim a refund on their membership fee. Depending on the nature of the refund, an administration fee may be charged. If, however, you have used any of the coupons on offer then no refund will be possible.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Coupon Club and Untangled Media Limited and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, and merchant partners harmless from and against any third-party claim or cause of action, including reasonable legal fees and court costs, arising, directly or indirectly, out of your use of the Coupon Club service or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Disclosures
You acknowledge that we may be required to, and shall if so required, disclose your personal information to the competent authorities in relation to any investigation, court order, or other lawful request for information which we are legally required to comply with.
Governing Law
You agree that these terms and conditions or any claim, dispute, or controversy (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, whether pre-existing, present, or future, and including statutory, common law, and equitable claims) between you and Coupon Club arising from or relating to these Terms & Conditions, their interpretation or breach, termination or validity, the relationships which result from these Terms & Conditions, the Coupon Club website, Coupon Club’s advertising, or any related transaction shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta.
