Coupon Club’s Charity of the Month initiative highlights and supports a different charitable organization each month, helping to raise awareness and encourage community involvement. A percentage of each sale made through Coupon Club goes directly to the chosen charity, providing financial support for their initiatives. Through this initiative, Coupon Club aims to give back to the community while using its platform to promote meaningful causes.
The Malta Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (MSPCA) is a registered and licensed non-governmental organization (NGO VO/0035) committed to animal welfare through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy. Rooted in compassion, the MSPCA works to protect animals from neglect and cruelty while promoting responsible pet ownership across Malta.
From their shelter in Floriana, the MSPCA provides a safe space for abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats, offering them medical care, rehabilitation, and the chance to be adopted into loving homes.
Education is at the heart of the MSPCA’s mission. In 2024, their tailor-made syllabus was officially incorporated into Malta’s national curriculum — a major step toward raising awareness about animal welfare from an early age. Regular school visits help foster empathy and responsibility in younger generations. Beyond classrooms, the MSPCA extends its outreach to elderly care homes, offering therapeutic animal interactions that bring comfort and connection to senior residents.
Recognizing the challenges faced by families in difficult financial situations, the MSPCA has also partnered with the Foodbank to launch a dedicated Pet Food Hub — a support system ensuring that no animal goes hungry due to hardship. This initiative helps keep beloved pets with their families, preventing unnecessary surrenders caused by economic strain.
Whether through rescue, education, or community outreach, the MSPCA remains a strong and compassionate voice for animals in Malta.
